1/4 scale Hansa Brandenburg C1 (see the build log on this site)  Scratch built in 2008 from plans by Arizona Models.....(John Cole design) Wingspan is 117”. Weight is about 25 lbs. Saito 180 four stroke engine on spark ignition. This model is highly detailed throughout, including scale aileron linkages, detailed cockpit, scale Daimler engine, full cockpit detailing, scale rigging, custom spoked wheels, spade brake etc. The covering is super Coverite c/w full rib stitching and doped natural linen finish. This model has been built to qualify at master scale competitions at any level. A complete documentation package properly bound is included along with extensive research data. Special attention to lightweight construction and ease of assembly was considered. The airplane has flown only once very successfully. It is a real crowd pleaser at shows.
